SGB's First Movie

This is a short video from the 3D/4D ultrasound (apparently the 4th "D" is video). She's definitely Oscar-worthy!

Jackie wanted a 3D-4D ultrasound for her birthday, and she got it! These are the pictures captured during a 30 minute session on 7/17/08.

Jackie's favorite picture is the one where the baby is sucking on her lip, and Brett's favorite is the pretzel profile shot -- see if you can find them!

It's a GIRL!!

We just got back from our 18 week ultrasound, and we found out that we have a very healthy baby GIRL!! She's right at 8 oz. (but don't tell her we posted her weight online), and she's measuring well within the normal range. Her heart is strong, and the sonographer said she had a "big brain." Apparently the lack of a weenis means it's a girl (duh), which is why the sonographer labeled the first picture as such. The rest are profile shots (phew -- a good nose!) and a really neat shot of her spinal cord.

April Appointment Update

We went to our third baby doctor appointment this past Tuesday, and it was really quick. The doctor used her Fisher Price microphone and listened to the baby's heartbeat. She found it almost immediately, and she said it was a strong 150 beats per minute. All is well with Mom's blood pressure, weight, etc.

Our next appointment, probably in the middle of May, will be the big ultrasound -- we'll find out whether it's a boy or a girl! Vote in our poll and come back and check in May!
