I can't believe it's been a month already! Jackie took these pictures of a very happy Samantha a month into her life. She's changed so much already, and she's starting to look like Jackie too.

At her pediatrician's visit, she weighed 8 lbs. 11 oz. and measured 22 inches long. Shes in the 50th percentile in weight and 75th percentile in length, up from the 50th percentile at birth. We think she'll be tall and skinny, just like her dad (used to be).

Samantha, Jackie, G'Ma Mixon, and I spent Sam's first Halloween together. Since Sam is an October baby, we received lots of Halloween clothes, including hats, shirts, onesies, socks, booties, and bibs. We tried to take a picture of everything, but Sam decided she'd had enough after the first few. I also told her that Halloween is the only day she's allowed to wear orange (Go Dawgs!).

Samantha Takes a Bath

This was one of Sam's first baths after her noodle fell off. The baby bath we registered for didn't fit in our sink quite right, so we had to use the tub the hospital gave us. She really didn't like the first couple baths. After she got used to the sprayer and the running water, she started really liking it.

Samantha's First Bottle

Now that Sam had the hang of nursing, we decided to introduce a bottle to allow Jackie to sleep a little more.

I was happy to finally be able to help feeding her, and Jackie was very happy to sleep. Sam started sleeping 6 hours during the night (!!) shortly after that.

Samantha, Mom, Dad, Aunt Katie, Matt, Claire, and Hobie watched the Dawgs beat Vandy 24-14. Sam was dressed to match Dad in her Georgia cheerleading outfit.

She's here!!

Samantha Grace Belding was born on October 8, 2008 at 9:05PM. She weighed seven pounds 12 ounces and was 20 inches long.
